Stephanie Stokes has created a book filled with beautiful photos of stylish, traditional spaces. What sets the book apart is the author's generousity in sharing her tried and true solutions for organization and storage challenges. She demonstrates to the reader how to analyze and create beautiful, functional and relevant sanctuaries. It looks like magic: but, it is really talent, experience and dedication to the concept that rooms should work as great as they look.

This was the first decorator book that had more valuable information in the print than in the photos. Amazing advice and information to go with exquisite photographs. Absolutely beautifully done.

Rooms that work!!

Great resource! Beautiful pictures that illustrate how to make rooms both beautiful and functional because you can't really have one with out the other. One of the first things I learned; every room needs a comfortable chair and every comfortable chair needs a table by it to put a drink or book on......now what could be more fantastically simple. Great to have furniture plans in the book to help understand how scale relates to function and beauty. Love the book.
