Bryony Thomas is a proven marketing professional, with a passion for helping ambitious entrepreneurs make their marketing pay through her speaking, writing and hands-on consultancy. If You Only Buy One Marketing Book...... actually I've bought this one twice, I liked it so much

This is, without doubt, the most helpful book I've read for any business - small, medium or large - for someone with no marketing background to come to grips with the whys and hows of marketing. It's not fixated on any channel, any niche or any personality type, and it's supported by a fantastic set of practical work books that are effectively included in the price, available from Bryony's website. There's support options beyond those books for those who want them, but there's no hard sell, because there's nothing about Watertight that's about "hard" or "sell" but I can't imagine how anyone could read this, whether they try any of the exercises or follow-up on any of the "further info" material, and *not* have ideas that would improve their bottom line results and have happy clients, longer. I cannot praise this book highly enough - it's made me feel so much less alone in developing my business.

A few published errors but overall pretty good

I purchased the book for a course I am taking. Whilst it is a great source of information, it is ironic that, as a book on transcription and the importance of grammar, spelling, etc., it contains quite a few spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. The accompanying CD, which contains various support material, also contains errors and omissions.

Graphics are well done and chapter organisation is sensible. Overall, not a bad text if you can overlook the minor errors.

For the Novice and professional

I am just new to this electrotherapy industry and got this book for the cheap price compared to the newer edition.

The articles are very detailed and provide a large understanding to how electrotherapy works. I find they have helped me understand my muscles better and how they function. I have only read a few articles and found them very interesting and relatively easy to understand. The references are ubiquitous throughout the book, I am sure there is not one study left untouched!

I would recommend this to my friends and associates in the health industry

The only reason I dont give the 5 stars, is because I was expecting more information of microcurrents an high voltage, but I`m really please with the information they gather about TENS, TIF and generalities of electrotherapy.

Mostly useless
By Be the Change You Wish to See
As a practicing clinician, I find very little utility for this book. There is actually very little information on how to dose the drugs, monitoring needed, tests to order prior to initiation, etc. It does give info on receptor binding, which is nice for rationale psychopharm. But otherwise it is primarily a compilation of studies with no clinical pearls or clinical wisdom. It is very thick, but never seems to answer my clinical questions, it is not fast to read in a pinch, they stick strictly with what has bee reported in the literature, even when it isn't consistent with clinical experience. I've never found it to be helpful. So even if you were to take the time to read it, you wouldn't gain much.
