Courts VS the Founding Fathers

This book is a must read for those interested history, law and religion. Recommended for teaches and journalists. The well documented information in this book makes clear what the country's founding fathers had in mind when they phrased the constitution, where our government stood on the issue up until the eary 1900's and where the courts currently stand on the "separation of church and State" issue. What is stunning is where the current doctrine came from and how far apart the curent viewpoint is from the one held as recently as this century. Excellent picture of how the Supreme Court writes the law instead of Congress. This is not light reading
